Beirut, May 24, 2021. Cuba's ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, participated the day before in two acts of solidarity with Palestine, organized by Lebanese and Palestinian parties and organizations in the country of the cedars.
In the first of the events, organized by the nasserist party Mourabitoun, the Cuban diplomat congratulated the Palestinian resistance for demonstrating that the Palestinians continue fighting for their inalienable rights, at the same time he highlighted the great support shown by the peoples of the world, who in many cities expressed their rejection to the Israeli aggression.
The ambassador of the Greater Antilles later visited the Naher El Bared refugee camp in the northern city of Tripoli, where he participated in an event organized by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
In both events Pellicer Moraga expressed the strongest condemnation of the Cuban government and people to the vile aggression of the Israeli military forces against the Gaza Strip, and the indiscriminate bombings against the civilian population. He also reaffirmed Cuba's unconditional support for the cause of the Palestinian people and their right to have an independent state on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
"We lovers of peace and justice suffer today together with the Palestinian people, we suffer the death of every child and every innocent person because as El Che used to say, a true revolutionary was one capable of feeling deeply any injustice committed against anyone anywhere in the world, and we can affirm, without a doubt, that the genocide being committed today against the Palestinians is the greatest injustice of our time." The ambassador affirmed. (Embacuba Líbano)
