Kuwait, February 12: Cuban Ambassador Alain Pérez Torres was received by H.E. Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmed, Assistant Minister for the Americas.
During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat provided extensive information on the situation in Cuba and the measures taken by his government to mitigate the effects of the energy crisis caused by the fuel blockade imposed by the US. He also denounced the US government's attempts to justify this escalation in the economic war against his country with false and mendacious pretexts that do not hold water. At the same time, he informed him of the widespread international rejection of these measures and how the world has shown solidarity with Cuba.
For his part, the Kuwaiti diplomat thanked him for the information received and expressed his desire and confidence that Cuba will resolve this difficult situation as soon as possible.
