Cuban ambassador participates in event to strengthen Liberia's relations with its development partners.

On April 17, the Liberian government convened representatives of civil society, its cabinet ministers, the diplomatic and consular corps, and financial organizations for a joint session to coordinate resources, strategies, and actions for Liberia's development. President Joseph Nyuma Boakhai opened the session.

The Cuban ambassador attended and reiterated the Cuban government's willingness to support Liberia with the Yes I Can Program and the presence of Cuban doctors. She also denounced the current US administration's policy of heightened harassment, combined with the harmful effects of the blockade and the inclusion of the list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.
