Cuban Ambassador participates in GRULAC meeting with Director of Carnegie Middle East Center
Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, together with the members of GRULAC, held a pleasant, wide-ranging and positive discussion with Maha Yahya, Director of the Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center.
The meeting, organized by the Ambassador of Uruguay, Carlos Guitto, was held at the Uruguayan residence, where topics related to current Lebanese affairs and conflicts in the region were discussed.
Classified as a "think tank", the Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center is a research center on public policy in the Middle East. It was founded in Beirut in November 2006 by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and aims primarily to provide research and analysis on the challenges facing North Africa and the Middle East.
