Vienna, February 1. Ambassador Pablo Berti Oliva participated as a special guest at the Ball der roten Nelken (Ball of the Red Carnations) held in the city of Pölten, organized by the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ).
The diplomat attended in response to an invitation made by the mayor of Pölten, Mr. Matthias Stadler, who during the festivity, on behalf of the SPÖ, expressed his support for Cuba in the face of the intensification of the blockade.
The cultural activity highlighted through this artistic manifestation the values of the Political Force, the third most representative in Austria, which has historically maintained good relations with Cuba. For the second time, the Cuban ambassador attended as a special guest, after attending in 2024 the “Capital Ball 2024”
