Ottawa - June 11, 2024. As part of his presentation activities as new Ambassador of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, visited today the Mayor's Office of the Capital of the country.
In this context, he had a positive exchange with His Worship Mark Sutcliffe, Mayor of Ottawa, and he wrote a warm greeting on behalf of the Cuban people in the Visitors' Book of the Mayor's Office.
The occasion was an opportunity to exchange on the good relations between Cuba and Canada, which next year will reach their 80th anniversary, and the potentialities to continue strengthening them for the benefit of our peoples. Both officials agreed on the willingness to promote a closer link between the Mission and the city government, for which purpose exchanges will continue.
