Cuban Ambassador presents Letters of Credence to the Federal President of the Republic of Austria
Vienna, March 9, 2023 - Cuban diplomat Pablo Berti Oliva, in a solemn ceremony, presented to His Excellency Alexander Van der Bellen, Federal President of the Republic of Austria, the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in that European country.
In the brief meeting held with the Cuban ambassador, the Austrian Federal President sent his greetings to the President of the Republic of Cuba and highlighted the good state of relations between both countries.
The priority given by both countries to the fight against climate change and the possibility of cooperation in this particularly important sphere was also discussed during the meeting.
The ceremony took place at the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the current residence of the Federal President.
