Kuwait, February 23: Cuban Ambassador Alain Pérez Torres was received by H.E. Mr. Nasser Yousef Mohammed Al-Sumait, Minister of Justice of the State of Kuwait.
During the fruitful meeting, both agreed on the mutually beneficial opportunities for cooperation that exist in the judicial sphere. For his part, the Minister praised the Cuban health system and the quality of its personnel. He recalled with gratitude the support of our collaborators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Cuban diplomat thanked Kuwait on behalf of the Cuban people and government for its historic support in the United Nations for the Cuban resolution against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States.
Before concluding, both highlighted the positive state of the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and the State of Kuwait.
