On April 22, 2026, Tina Antonius, Executive Director of the Austrian Coffee and Tea Association, welcomed the Cuban Ambassador to Austria, His Excellency Mr. Pablo Berti Oliva, for a meeting at the
association’s offices.
The conversation focused on potential prospects for cooperation between Cuba and Austria in the coffee sector. Cuba has extensive areas of organic farming, which gives it significant potential, particularly in the field
of organic coffee.
The aim of the dialogue is to inform the members of the Austrian Coffee and Tea Association about the possibilities for closer cooperation, as well as to promote exchange with interested companies and experts.
Furthermore, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Austria, the Cuban Embassy is carrying out projects aimed at further strengthening bilateral exchange and commemorating this historic milestone.
