The Food Authority (FAL), headed by Director General, the Honorable Precellia Cherue, is one of Liberia's newest government agencies.
The Agency, which seeks to exchange information and technical expertise in the field, invited Cuban Ambassador Dr. Indira López Arguelles to its headquarters.
The Ambassador, in addition to thanking the Liberian people and government for their support of Cuba's fight against the U.S. blockade, noted its significant impact on exports, food production, and ensuring access to basic food staples for the Cuban people.
The Ambassador also learned about the Agency's work and explored potential opportunities for collaboration between Cuban and Liberian companies, as well as on various aspects related to hygiene, food production, and food expansion in Liberia.
