The Cuban Ambassador, Alejandro Simancas Marin, visited the Indian National Institute of Ayurveda where he was received by its Director General, Tanuja Nesari, with whom he exchanged on joint cooperation actions to support the development of natural medicine in Cuba and the strengthening of the Center of Ayurveda Medicine in Havana. They also highlighted the different options for the training of Cuban specialists in this traditional medicine practice.
Also present at the meeting was the Indian Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore, who shared with the Ambassador.
The Indian National Institute of Ayurveda covers the entire academic, research and clinical sphere of this system of traditional and alternative medicine originating in India.
