Addis Ababa, November 8, 2025.- Ethio-Istanbul General Hospital has been officially included in the DQS “World Database,” an international platform that compiles more than 20,000 quality management certifications. This inclusion follows the hospital's achievement of ISO 9001:2015 certification, awarded by a certification body based in Germany.
The international certification ceremony for the Ethio-Istanbul General Hospital was attended by the Cuban ambassadors to Ethiopia and to the African Union, Meylin Suárez and Lucas Domingo Hernández, who congratulated the hospital on this achievement.
During the ceremony, Dr. Seyoum Kassa proudly emphasized that he received a significant portion of his medical training in Cuba, a country whose educational system profoundly influenced his professional development.
