Cuban Consulate participates in Toronto's Latin Fair

The Consulate of Cuba along with other Latin American consulates accredited in Toronto (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico and Uruguay) exhibited part of their roots at the Latin Fair to highlight the Hispanic heritage and cultural diversity in Canada.

The space was propitious for those present to enjoy a little piece of Cuba with the joy that characterizes Cubans and where there was no shortage of good Cuban music, dominoes and the opportunity to taste the rich flavor of Cuban food.

In addition, salsa classes were given to those present by Cuban professor José Ángel Carret, which ended in a dance competition, and Cuba was promoted as a safe tourist destination.

The Association of Cubans Juan Gualberto Gómez together with some solidarity members and friends of Cuba, accompanied and supported at all times the representation of the Consulate at the Fair.

The Cubans, as usual, spread their joy to many of those present who joined in the dancing and the initiatives who proudly joined their flag, many of whom wrote beautiful messages to our island. Oscar Vigil, executive director of the Hispanic Canadian Heritage Council (HCHC) and coordinator of the Fair, highlighted the work and projection of the Cuban representation.
