In the Grenadian capital, Saint John, a meeting took place between Cuban diplomats and local businessman Patrick David, as part of ongoing exchange and rapprochement efforts between the two countries.
During the meeting, David expressed his deep affection for Cuba, emphasizing that this bond stems from what Cuba has instilled in Grenada over decades of collaboration in areas such as health, education, and the development of crucial infrastructure. David, a close friend of Cuba, highlighted that these contributions have left a lasting mark on Grenadian society and have strengthened the friendship between the two nations.
For her part, the Cuban ambassador to Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, reaffirmed the Cuban people's commitment to continue cooperating with the people of Grenada, despite the material restrictions resulting from the economic blockade imposed by the United States.
