Namibia, June 22nd, 2022.- Ambassador Jerobeam Shaanika, General Director of Multilateral Affairs and Cooperation of the Namibian Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, held a working meeting with Aldo Luis Fuentes Acosta, second secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Namibia, and the counsellor Rodolfo Ricardo Guzman.
During the meeting, organized within the framework of the handover process between both Cuban diplomats, Fuentes expressed his gratitude to the Namibian Ambassador for the excellent working relations and permanent cooperation with the Diplomatic Mission.
The experienced Namibian diplomat highlighted the work carried out by the Second Secretary and welcomed Counsellor Ricardo Guzmán.
The Cuban representatives updated Ambassador Shaanika, with figures and information, on the impact of COVID-19 in Cuba and the effects caused by the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States.
In this sense, the Ambassador condemned this policy against the Cuban people and underlined his government's support for Cuba.
