Cuban Embassy in Austria denounces the tightening of the US blockade against Cuba.
In an exclusive interview, offered on 8 October to the program "The Voice of Latin America and the Caribbean" of the Free Radio of Vienna, on the frequency Orange 94.0; the Minister Counselor, Mrs. Marieta García Jordán, Second Head of the Cuban Embassy in Austria, denounced the effects caused by the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States maintains against Cuba for almost 60 years and in particular the tightening of this policy on the part of the current U.S. Administration.
The effects of the measures adopted by the Trump Administration this year were reported, including the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act and the naval blockade that hinders the arrival in Cuba of the fuels necessary for the economy and social development, among other actions of extraterritorial scope and in violation of international law.
The program which was broadcasted live from 20:00 to 21:00 hours and conducted by journalist Zoraida Nieto, was also dedicated to the heroic guerrilla fighter Ernesto "Che" Guevara, as that day the 52nd anniversary of his death in combat was commemorated.
