A representation of the Cuban Embassy in Austria held a cordial meeting with Cuban residents in St. Pölten, the capital of the State of Lower Austria as part of the working visit to that region.
It was suitable occasion for the Second Secretary in charge of Consular Affairs, Mr. Roberto Vizcaíno Martínez to provide the attendees with extensive information on the new migratory measures approved by the Cuban Government which are in force since 1 January 2018. The theme aroused a lively exchange of ideas and made possible the clarification on concerns and questions of the Cuban community regarding these migratory issues and other topics linked to the current situation of the country.
Furthermore, Mrs. Marieta García, Chargé d´affaires a.i.; Mrs. Susette Hernández, Third Secretary and Mr. Radamés Ochoa, Bureau of Cuba´s Promotion and Image participated from the Cuban Embassy´s side.
The participants gathered in “Cuba Va”, the Association of Cuban Residents in Austria reaffirmed their availability to support initiatives to remain united and honor the image of our country in the city where they live.
