Vienna, November 25. Officials from the Cuban Embassy in Austria participated in an illustrated exhibition on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) organized by the Cervantes Institute in Vienna and the United Nations Group of Friends of Spanish.

The exhibition, which included the participation of Ibero-American countries and friends of the Spanish language, was created with the aim of raising awareness of the 17 SDGs, using artistic language such as illustration.

The Cuban officials, led by Ambassador Pablo Berti Oliva, emphasized Cuba's support for multilingualism at the United Nations and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Culture, which this exhibition demonstrates is a cross-cutting theme and a fundamental sector for achieving the SDGs, allows the global plan adopted by the UN to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all by 2030 to be presented to all audiences in an original and colorful way.
