Cuban film exhibition in Kolkata, India.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India in association with the Forum for Film Studies and Allied Arts organized a Cuban film exhibition in Kolkata, capital of the Indian state of West Bengal.

The event was inaugurated by renowned film director Ashoke Viswanathan; Dibyajyoti Mukhopadhyay, professor of Spanish at the Academy of Indo-Hispanic Languages in Kolkata; and Barun Ray, director of the Forum for Film Studies and Allied Arts. 

During two days, the Cuban films "Innocence" by director Alejandro Gil; "Cuba Libre!" by Jorge Luis Sanchez; "Habanastation" by Ian Padron; and "Viva Cuba" by Juan Carlos Cremata were screened. All the audiovisuals were favorably received by the audience.
