Cuban Foreign Minister congratulates his Lebanese counterpart for his appointment

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent a congratulatory message to his Lebanese counterpart Nassif Hitti, for his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Lebanese Republic.

In the letter Rodríguez Parrilla reaffirmed the interest of the Greater Antilles to continue developing and strengthening the historical bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Cuba and Lebanon established diplomatic relations on June 15, 1960 and rose to the Embassy level on April 19, 1962, which has contributed to its strengthening. (Embacuba Líbano)
