New Delhi, 15 May 2026 - As part of his participation in the meeting of BRICS Foreign Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla met with his counterpart from the Republic of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar.
During the meeting, it was reviewed the good state of relations and issues on the bilateral agenda between both nations, which this year reached the 66th anniversary of diplomatic relations. In addition, the different opportunities for cooperation focused on health, biotechnology and development issues were discussed.
In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was exchanged for Regular Political Consultations between the two countries' Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
On the Cuban side were present the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Miguel Pereira Hernández and the Ambassador of Cuba in India, H.E. Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera.
