Cuban Foreign Minister Visits National Palace Museum of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, March 12, 2025.- Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla visited the National Palace Museum, where he reflected on the historical and cultural connections between Cuba and Ethiopia. "This is not my first visit to Ethiopia," the minister remarked to the Ethiopian News Agency, noting his participation in several events over the years that have deepened mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.

Rodríguez Parrilla affirmed that relations between Ethiopia and Cuba are in excellent condition, built on a solid historical foundation. However, he said: "We have the opportunity to expand our mutual cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, science, academia and culture," the Minister added.

He emphasized the shared historical roots and traditions that unite the two nations, as well as their tradition of mutual support in various multilateral forums.  He stressed that countries "face common challenges and objectives in an increasingly complex international landscape. Fortunately, we share commonalities on several international agendas, which further strengthens our partnership."

The Cuban delegation's visit underscores the enduring friendship between Ethiopia and Cuba, a relationship rooted in shared struggles, mutual respect and a commitment to a better future.
