Cuban Head of Mission signed the book of condolences for the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Liberia, September 15, 2022- On Thursday afternoon, the Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, signed the official book of condolences, opened at the Embassy of Great Britain in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Cuban diplomat expressed heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, the British government and people, on behalf of the Cuban government and people.

Her Majesty Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022.

In the Republic of Cuba, a day of official mourning was decreed as a sign of respect and as an expression of the positive relations between the two countries.
