Beirut, November 23, 2020. The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) sent a warm message of congratulations to Lebanese friends on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the independence of Lebanon.
The letter highlights the historic friendship that unites Cuba and Lebanon, characterized by mutual respect, solidarity and understanding.
The ICAP thanked all the friends, young graduates in Cuba and the members of the friendship groups for their permanent accompaniment to the Revolution and the Cuban people. "We are deeply grateful for the work that for years and in an exceptional way you have done in support of the just causes that Cuba defends, and the actions of denunciation against the blockade imposed by the United States on the island for 60 years."
