Ottawa, October 1 – Cuban Minister of Tourism Mr. Manuel Marrero Cruz will visit Canada from October 1 to 5. During his stay, he will carry out an extensive visit program in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
Minister Marrero Cruz will meet with his Canadian counterpart Ms. Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie. The Minister´s visit program includes meetings with executives from the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism of Quebec, tour operators working in the Cuban market, including Transat, Sunwing and Hola Sun, as well as with Air Canada officials, among other important agencies linked to the tourism sector.
Canada is Cuba´s largest tourism source market, with more than one million visitors every year, thus, this visit will be an excellent opportunity to strengthen the existing ties between both countries in this sector.
