Cuban Representative to the African Union pays courtesy visit to the Embassy of Burundi in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, June 20, 2025.- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández Polledo, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Burundi in Addis Ababa, where he was received by the Burundian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Willy Nyamitwe.

During the meeting, both diplomats held a fruitful exchange on multilateral issues of mutual interest and agreed on the need to continue strengthening the ties of cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of the African Union and other international forums.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect, reaffirming the shared will of Cuba and Burundi to work for a more just and multipolar world.
