Cubans of the Bekaa Valley gather to celebrate the Father´s day

Beirut, June 18 .- Around fifty Cubans resident in Lebanon, mainly from Baalbeck, Ras Baalbeck, Chtoura and other towns in the Province of Beqaa gathered in Dar Al Helmet to celebrate the Day of the Fathers in Cuba.

The typical "caldosa", Cuban music and dances allowed the Cuban-Lebanese families reunited to enjoy an afternoon with a taste of the distant homeland while congratulating the fathers present.

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba, Raúl Madrigal, praised the initiative of the families of this region that strengthens the Caribbean roots and the ties of union between the members of the small Cuban community in Lebanon.
