Cubans resident in Lebanon celebrated the anniversaries of the "José Martí" Pioneers Organization and the Union of Young Communists

Beirut, 8 abr (PL-EmbaCuba Líbano) Cubans residents in Lebanon celebrated the anniversaries of the "José Martí" Pioneers Organization and the Union of Young Communists with Cuban dances and collective games at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in this capital. In the introductory speech, the Cuban Ambassador Miguel Porto Parga highlighted the strong patriotic feelings of the Cuban community in Lebanon and the importance of keeping them in the younger generations. Also expressed solidarity with the Brazilian leader, Luiz Ignacio Lula da Silva, who faces an unjust prison sentence.
The children filled the day  with the joy, dynamism and energy that characterize the early ages of life.
One of the striking details of the celebration was the creation of an artist from the renowned Lebanese pattisserie who conceived a cake full of national signs and with the legendary hero of the cartoons, Elpidio Valdés. A work of art that was hard to cut to serve those present.
