Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago will be represented at the VI Regional Meeting of CRE in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Port of Spain, June 13, 2023. The compatriot Jacqueline Laguardia Martínez will be the representative of Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago at the VI Regional Meeting of CRE in Latin America and the Caribbean. She held a meeting with Counselor Patricia Pita Calderón at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters yesterday, on the occasion they exchanged about the General Call for the Meeting launched by the Network of Cuban Residents in Latin America and the Caribbean in conjunction with the Association of Cubans and Cuban Residents in Venezuela (ACCREVEN).

The event will take place between June 16 and 18, 2023 in the Governorate of "La Guaira", Venezuela and among the objectives it pursues are the preservation of the Cuban cultural identity, the strengthening of the defense of the sovereignty of our Homeland and the continuation of the fight for the elimination of the blockade, also expressing the firm condemnation of our people to the continuous media campaigns and discredit against Cuba.

This event will take place prior to the IV Conference "The Nation and Emigration" scheduled to be held in Havana on November 18 and 19, which was recently announced by the Cuban government as an expression of the unequivocal will of our country to continue deepening ties with its nationals abroad.
