Amsterdam, October 25, 2025. The persistent rain and the Dutch autumn wind were no obstacle for the supportive friends who gathered at DAM Square in the Dutch capital to condemn the United States blockade against Cuba.
Around 10 organizations, including the Cuba Adelante Foundation, the Community of Ethiocubans in Europe, the Cuba Vive Foundation, the Hands Off the G77 Group, the Rosa Association, the Communist Youth Movement, the New Communist Party of the Netherlands, among others, gathered to demand an end to the unjust and genocidal blockade imposed on the Cuban people for more than 60 years.
Speeches, music, and Cuban flags accompanied the afternoon, where friendly voices were raised in defense of justice and in support of the international community that annually supports the end of the blockade at the United Nations General Assembly, with the certainty that this year, despite constant imperialist pressure, it will be repeated.
Participants reaffirmed that a better world is possible and that justice and truth will always prevail. The occasion was also opportune to express solidarity with Venezuela in the face of the acts of imperialist aggression and the attacks being carried out in the Caribbean.
