Cubans in Barbados commemorate the 172nd anniversary of the birth of José Martí with a strong condemnation of the blockade policy.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Barbados hosted yesterday afternoon, January 25, the commemoration of the 172nd anniversary of the birth of our Apostle, José Martí. We were accompanied in this evening by a representation of the membership of the Association of Cuban Residents “Martyrs of Barbados”, friends of solidarity, the Pan-Africanist Movement and members of the State Mission. All together we paid tribute to a man of universal thought and very advanced for his time, our José Martí. 

The World Marathon of Love for Cuba began on the 64th anniversary of ICAP.

Today, 30 December, the 64th anniversary of the founding of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the ‘World Marathon of Love for Cuba’, an initiative promoted by the Continental Network of Latin America and the Caribbean for Solidarity with Cuba and Just Causes, was launched at a virtual press conference.This event will mark a milestone in the actions of solidarity movements that will carry out the most diverse solidarity activities throughout the year 2025. 

Solidarity friends from the Netherlands condemns US Blockade

Amsterdam, October 26, 2024. DAM Square, in the center of the Dutch capital, was the venue chosen by supportive friends and Cuban residents to demonstrate against the genocidal blockade imposed by the US government against Cuba.

The innumerable effects that the blockade has caused in more than 60 years were denounced by the participants, together with the demand for its immediate lifting.

The voices of #CubaNoEstaSola and #TumbaElBloqueo were heard repeatedly during the afternoon, along with the posters and images condemning the criminal blockade
