Deputy Minister of Justice heads Cuban delegation to the Thirty-fourth Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice

Vienna, May 19. The Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Cuba, Yashna Díaz Cabarrouy, arrived in Vienna to lead the Cuban delegation to the Thirty-Fourth Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ), to be held from May 19 to 23, 2025.

The Deputy Minister of Justice was received by Pablo Berti Oliva, Ambassador of Cuba to Austria and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Organizations in Vienna, who updated her on the work of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the complex work program of the Commission at this session, as well as the objectives proposed for the Cuban delegation.

The Vice Minister will address the CCPCJ and will carry out an intense program of work during the Commission's session. The occasion will be an opportunity to highlight Cuba's positions and work in the fight against and prevention of crime.

The Cuban delegation is also composed of other officials from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Cuba, the Ministry of the Interior and the Permanent Mission of Cuba in Vienna.
