Dialogue between Cuba and Zimbabwe strengthens bilateral cooperation

Addis Ababa, May 21, 2026.- Ambassador Lucas Domingo Hernández held a working meeting with the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Ethiopia, Sophia Nyamudeza, during which both parties exchanged views on issues of common interest and the strengthening of bilateral relations.

During the meeting, Hernández Polledo reiterated Cuba's gratitude to the Government of Zimbabwe for its firm and sustained condemnation of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States against the Cuban people, as well as for its continued support of the resolution presented annually by Cuba at the United Nations.
