Diplomatic meeting reaffirms the bonds of friendship and solidarity between Cuba and the Republic of Congo

Addis Ababa, August 6, 2026.- The Ambassador of Cuba to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández, and the Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Congo and Permanent Representative to the African Union, André Poh, during which they exchanged views on the relations between both countries and the importance of continuing to strengthen the historic bonds of friendship that unite Cuba and Africa.

During the meeting, both parties agreed on the need to continue expanding opportunities for exchange and collaboration. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue contributing to and developing initiatives that further strengthen ties between our peoples.
