The Hague, 8 March 2018. Jorge Fernández Torres, director of the National Museum of Fine Arts visited The Netherlands invited by the Mondriaan Fund.
As part of the working programme carried out in the Netherlands, Fernández Torres made a presentation of the 11th and 12th editions of the Havana Biennale, in which he served as Director. The presentation took place in the University of Leiden and was coordinated together with the Programme of Studied on Latin America (LAS) of this university. During the exchange, Fernández spoke of the relevance, scope and trascendence of the works presented in the past editions of the Biennale.
The attendees to the exchange were also interested in the details of the organizing process of this kind of events and on the 13th edition, which will take place in 2019.
