Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency recognizes the good practices of Cuba in the use of nuclear techniques in health and agriculture

Vienna, April 23, 2020. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency recognized the good practices of Cuba in the use of nuclear techniques for peaceful purposes.

In his official Twitter account, the Director General mentioned the Island as one of the Caribbean countries, along with Belize, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, which appropriately implement nuclear energy in sectors such as agriculture and health.

This recognition confirms the good results achieved by Cuba in the implementation of technical cooperation projects with the IAEA and the favorable state of relations with this organism.
