Beirut, Jan 3 (Prensa Latina) The director of the National News Agency, Laure Sleiman Saab, received today the Cuban ambassador in Lebanon, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, to discuss the possibilities of media cooperation.
The Lebanese agency and Prensa Latina put the final touches on a draft agreement for the exchange of information and photographs, under the auspices of the Cuban diplomatic legation.
At the end of the dialogue, the head of the diplomatic mission thanked Sleiman for the reception and considered the results of the meeting successful, which opens perspectives for cooperation between the agencies of the two countries.
"Both parties can achieve great cooperation and joint support in the development of relations in the media and communication sectors between Lebanon and Cuba," said Pellicer Moraga.
During the meeting, Sleiman received an invitation from the president of Prensa Latina, Luis Enrique González, to participate in a conference dedicated to the 60th Anniversary of Operation Truth, scheduled from January 21 to 22 in Havana.
