Ottawa - June 19, 2024. The Association of Cuban Residents in Ottawa - Gatineau made an important donation to the Provincial Hospital of Matanzas "Faustino Pérez".
The donation of medical supplies, medicines and consumables was received by the Geriatrics and Neurology wards of said hospital and will be destined mainly to the elderly patients admitted to this medical center.
Members of the Association expressed their willingness to continue sending supplies to our country, for which they will continue working.
These actions reaffirm the commitment of Cubans living abroad with their homeland, as well as the determination to continue supporting the Cuban people, deeply affected by the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government.
