A donation of medicines and medical supplies arrived to Havana this Saturday, November 12, to contribute to the recovery of the province of Pinar del Río after the ravages of Hurricane Ian. This beautiful gesture of solidarity was materialized by the Cuban Medical Brigade that provides collaboration services in the country, the Trinidad & Tobago Friends of Cuba Solidarity Association (TTFC), the Joint Trade Union Movement (JTUM), the Social Justice Movement ( MSJ) together with the group of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
In a symbolic act at the Cuban Embassy, the vice president of the Solidarity Association, Peter Burke ratified his solidarity with the Cuban Revolution and his rejection of the cruel and inhuman blockade of the United States against Cuba that hinders the development of the island. For her part, the Cuban ambassador Tania Diego Olite thanked the solidarity gesture, which shows that Cuba has always been accompanied by solidarity friends from all over the world.
