Addis Ababa, June 14, 2024- The Ambassador of Cuba in Ethiopia, Jorge F. Lefebre Nicolás, presented the scholarship financed by the Cuban government to study medicine in the Greater Antilles to the young Ethiopian, Kidist Alemneh Tesfaye.
During the meeting, the ambassador signed together with the Ethiopian student the documents that endorse her incorporation into medical studies in Cuba, next August.
Wishing her success in the near future, the Cuban diplomat exalted the position of Cuba, which continues to contribute to the training of human resources around the world, as irrefutable proof of altruism and permanent solidarity in the most remote corners of the planet.
The ceremony was accompanied by the relatives of the Ethiopian student and the rest of the officials of the Mission.
