Addis Ababa, April 4, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia hosted on April 4 the celebrations for the 62nd anniversary of the José Martí Pioneers Organization and 61st of the Communist Youth Union.
Members of the embassy together with the Cuban residents developed an activity at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission for
children of the Cuban community residing in the country. From the hand of their parents, the children symbolically received the red and blue scarf that identifies them as Cuban pioneers.
In the words of the Ambassador, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, the activity brought the resident children closer to the tradition of the Cuban nation of celebrating these dates with all the youth and also linked to the reception or change of the school scarf for our children and young people.
