Addis Ababa, March 8, 2025.- Within the framework of International Women's Day, the Embassy of Venezuela in Ethiopia organized a discussion dedicated to highlighting the role of women in various areas of society.
During the event, topics such as women's empowerment, women's participation in politics and the gender archetypes that have influenced their development were addressed.
The meeting was attended by women from the diplomatic sector, Ethiopian Cubans, Cuban residents and representatives of local organizations who shared reflections on the progress and challenges that women still face in the struggle for equality. In addition, the importance of education and leadership as fundamental tools for the progress of women in all sectors was highlighted.
The event concluded with a call to continue promoting spaces for dialogue and action that contribute to the construction of a more just and inclusive society.
