Addis Ababa, September 12, 2025.- During the meeting in Addis Ababa, the Cuban delegation was led by Fernando González Llort, President of ICAP and Hero of the Republic of Cuba, accompanied by Ambassador Meylin Suárez Álvarez and ICAP's Director of Africa, Yahimi Rodríguez Flores. They were received by Dr. Bikila Hurissa, Head of Public and International Relations of the Prosperity Party.
The dialogue highlighted the importance of advancing cooperation between parties, governments and people, strengthening existing ties and exploring new opportunities.
The Prosperity Party expressed its solidarity with Cuba in the face of unilateral sanctions, calling them an "economic war against the people" and recognizing Cuba's resilience as a global example of dignity, sovereignty and national pride.
Both sides agreed that current global challenges demand equity, dialogue and cooperation and they committed to organizing more exchanges and joint initiatives to deepen political, social and economic relations.
