The Cuban film "Cuba Libre", directed by the renowned director Jorge Luis Sánchez, was exhibited on Friday, October 12th, at the George Ignatieff Theater in Toronto, as part of the celebration of the Latin American Film Festival.
In his words of presentation of the work, the Cuban consul in this city, Beatriz Jorge Fonseca thanked the organizers while congratulating this event for the continued defense of the cultures of Latin American peoples.
The audience was captivated by the way in which the film narrates a particular moment in the history of Cuba seen through the innocence of two children and with much symbolism.
Audience gathered, among others, members of the Association of Cubans "Juan Gualberto Gómez", associations of solidarity with Cuba, as well as Cubans living in Toronto and Canadian friends.
