For three days, Regulatory Authorities from all regions exchanged their experiences and expectations on how regulatory convergence promotes timely access to safe, effective and quality assured medicines and medical products. During the event, several recent bilateral, regional and global experiences were showcased, many of them driven by the COVID 19 health emergency and others still ongoing in different areas of health regulation such as vaccines, pharmacopoeias and Good Manufacturing Practices inspections among others.
During the closing session, MSc. Olga Lidia Jacobo Casanueva, Director of CECMED, highlighted the importance of working together and building trust among regulators to achieve reliance and fulfill our mission to promote and protect the health of our people.
