A fruitful meeting was held at the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba to Canada with Master's students from the University of Ottawa, where topics of interest such as bilateral relations between Cuba and Canada, the effects of the blockade and the hostile policy of the U.S. government toward Cuba, the achievements of the Revolution, and the principles governing the foreign policy of our country were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of Mission, Giuvel Orozco, and the Attaché for Press and Culture , Aileén Carmenaty, who explained the reality of our country to those present and answered their questions, whom showed a keen interest in Cuba, its culture and traditions, political system and its projection in the international stage.
The visit of the students also enabled us to continue strengthening academic ties with this institution of the Canadian capital, in order to work on future projects with our country.
