On the occasion of the demise of the Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba declares nine days of national mourning, from 06:00 hours on November 26 to 12:00 hours of December 4, 2016.
During the period of the National Mourning will cease the activities and public shows, the national flag will wave at half mast on public buildings and military facilities. The radio and television will maintain historical, patriotic, and informative programming.

The Organizing Commission of the Central Committee of the Party, the State and the Government for the Funeral Honors of the Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, informs to the public that beginning from the 28 of November, from the 09:00 hours until the 22:00 hours, in the Memorial "José Martí" , the public of the capital can pay their deserved tribute to its leader, which is extended until the 29 of November in the hours between the 09:00 and the 12:00 hours.
The days 28 and the 29 of November, between 09:00 and 22:00 hours, it will be informed promptly in the places in each town, including the capital, all the Cuban will have the possibility to pay tribute and sign the solemn oath to fulfill the concept of Revolution, expressed by our historical leader on the First of May 2000, as an expression of the will to give continuity to his ideas and to our socialism.
On November 29, at 19:00, will be an act of Mass at the Plaza de la Revolución "José Martí" in the capital.
The next day will begin the transfer of the ashes by the route that recalls the caravan of liberty in January 1959, until the province of Santiago de Cuba, concluding on the 3 of December.
On this day itself, at 19:00 hours, there will be an act of mass in the square "Antonio Maceo".
Burial ceremony will take place at 07:00 from December 4 in the cemetery of "Santa Ifigenia".
Also it is informed to our people that the Military Magazine and March of the People fighter for the 60th anniversary of the landing of the expedition members from the yach Granma, day of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, is postponed to 2 January 2017.
