Nassau, May 29, 2025. Representatives of the GeoCuba business group and Cuba Rum Cake Factory Ltd. spent several days developing a work program to explore and define sectors of mutual interest to both parties.
As an initial result of interesting discussions and meetings that included other entities in the country, such as the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers' Confederation, two agreements were signed that facilitate the initiation of potential actions in common areas, which the various companies comprising the Cuban entity and its Bahamian counterpart can implement.
The Bahamian signatory of the agreements, President and CEO of the aforementioned local company, Jason Dax Rahming, is also the leader of the Initiative Grand CuBaHa, which seeks to develop bilateral and regional technical collaboration in areas such as the environment, geospatial management, maritime and coastal studies, agriculture and food security, and disaster infrastructure planning, among others.
