Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, Charg. of Neg. a.i. received Mr. Kaissar Obeid, member of the Supreme Council and head of International Relations of the Syrian National Socialist Party in Beirut, and held a positive exchange in which they addressed the main issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the positive expressions of solidarity and support for the struggle of the Cuban people against the economic, financial and commercial blockade were noted and the satisfactory bilateral ties were reviewed, while the party leader offered a cordial welcome to the Cuban diplomat and wished him success in his new mission.
