Head of Mission thanks Chinese government for its solidarity and support to Cuba.

Monrovia, August 26, 2021 - The head of the Cuban mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera had the opportunity to hold a friendly and fraternal meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to this West African country, H.E. Ren Yisheng.

The occasion was propitious for the Cuban diplomat to express her gratitude for the solidarity support of the Chinese government to Cuba in these times of pandemic.

Both diplomats exchanged views on the links between Cuba and China, the development of vaccines against COVID produced by their respective nations, the progress of Cuban biotechnology and the capacity demonstrated by scientists from the Greater of the Antilles.
